Some poetry for consideration. O're the vast Alaskan mountain ranges I gaze, Humbled by the realization of their seemingly timeless days. Before no man the lofty heights cower, With only with a cold and stony stature do they glower. In silent, majestic and perpetual grace, They laugh without mirth at mankind's meager race. The Ranges rumble with resilience at man's fickle monuments, While simply withstanding the icy torrents. Every storm they face with unsurpassed endurance, Ultimately representing their Creator with deference. Michael Miller - written during my adventures in Alaska.
