Back in the day eating organ meats was much more common. Today barely anyone does. Any bears into organ meat? Heart, liver etc? I have a feeling much of our malnutrition and vitamin deficiencies stems from a lack of organ meat in our diet. Lions are known to go straight for the liver on a fresh kill. The alpha wolf eats the liver while the rest of the pack takes the rest of the animal. It’s been historically prized in indigenous cultures. Fascinating that we’ve totally forgotten about these vital parts of animals as a regular part of our diet. Currently trying out pill form but would love to give beef and deer liver a shot. Plenty of venison in W. pa
